Fruit salad options


So this Friday, I'm going to this potluck event with my frat brothers, and I just thought that I can bring some fruit salads. These are some of the options that I searched up. Feel free to leave out some ingredients that you don't like because I might do some mix and match too. 


Fruit Salad #1: Fruit salad with glazed dressing


Ingredient: 
  • 15-ounce canned mandarin oranges or pineapple chunks or tidbits, drained (reserve the fruit and fruit juice)
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons honey or agave nectar
  • 1/4 cup plain or vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 4 cups fresh fruit + the canned fruit


Fruit Salad #2


Ingredient: 
  • 1 fresh ripe pineapple
  • 1 fresh ripe cantaloupe
  • 4 fresh ripe mangoes
  • 2 pounds of fresh strawberries
  • 4 cups of seedless green grapes
  • 1 1/2 cups of fresh blueberries
  • 3 to 5 cups powdered sugar


Fruit Salad #3: Honey lime rainbow fruit salad


Ingredient:
  • 1 lb fresh strawberries, diced
  • 1 lb fresh pineapple, diced
  • 12 oz fresh blueberries
  • 12 oz red grapes, diced into halves
  • 4 kiwis, peeled and diced
  • 1 (15 oz) can mandarin oranges in juice, drained well and sliced into halves
  • 2 ripe bananas, diced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tsp lime zest (zest of 2 medium limes)
  • 1 Tbsp fresh lime juice



Fruit Salad #4: Italian fruit salad


Ingredients:
  • 1 lb seedless watermelon, cut into 1 inch cubes or balls
  • 3 cups seedless green grapes, halved
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries
  • 2 tbsp thin sliced fresh basal leaves
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • pound cake, diced into 1 inch cubes
