Well yes. That's my question. How do you deal with stress? Personally, I don't know how to deal with stress, especially when there is more than two exam per week that I have to study. I start to worry too much about having two exams that I need to study, and I would panic and study less efficiently. Then I start to have angry management issues because I would feel upset that my life is a mess; next thing you know, I won't even smile and just have a really threatening, angry-looking face on all the time until I don't feel stress anymore.
The way I think about it is that I should space out and schedule my studying time and not procrastinate. But I do space out my study time, and I start studying way earlier, and I still end up feeling really stress about not getting a good grade as the exam date approaches. So I think there is something else other than studying that worries me.
So there comes my second assumption. I think that I might be stressing too much because I tend to give myself too high of an goal, and if I don't reach that goal, I would think that I've failed even though I probably have done way better than most of the people in the class. This is basically just the mindset that I've been having sine I was little, living in an Asian environment where good grades means you will succeed in the future and bad grades means you are a failure. So I'll always worry about the exam, even though I'll probably end up in a good grade. This exact process will repeat over and over again to the point where if I don't worry too much about the grade, it will somehow relates to me getting a bad grade.
How do people deal with stress? Do people actually meditate and feel more calm? I heard exercising can reduce stress, but I'll be thinking that I rather study during those times than
What do you do to reduce stress?
