My plan for eating healthy is going quite well...?
The most common way to eat healthy is to eat more vegetables and fruits.
Well. that's what I've been doing for the past three weeks because I seriously want to set a good diet just to be healthy. But things aren't working for me because as I eat more salad during my lunch and dinner, I just feel like it's not tasty. It's like my mind is telling me to eat it, but my stomach is telling me to spit it out.
Then, today at lunch, I grabbed a bowl of salad, Again, and a small plate of pasta. I proceed to try a bite of the pasta first because I felt tired of eating salad. Well. Of course it's yummy. It's carbs. Everyone loves carbs. Then I looked at the both my salad and pasta, and I just grabbed my plate of pasta and dumped it all in my salad. I mean.. Why not?! They will end up in my stomach anyways. Why not make the salad more tasty by adding something I love and making it enjoyable.
Well, there goes my strategy for eating healthy. Adding meat or pasta to my salad. It's not like salad has to be pure vegetarian, and then the other course of the meal can be non-vegetarian right? There are salads that comes with chicken, ham, turkey meat in it; some has fruits in it also. It's just time to be creative with your meal!
Here's a salad recipe that looks like what I created earlier at lunch, but more delicious...
P.S.: Sorry if I gross you out with the way I eat my salad...
